One Bug Too Many: ISPConfig’s PHP Code Injection Vulnerability

ISPConfig, a popular web hosting control panel, has been hit with a PHP code injection vulnerability. The bug was discovered by Egidio Romano and lies within the language_edit.php file in versions up to and including 3.2.11. Patch pending, the system is at risk of manipulation.

Hot Take:

Oh boy, ISPConfig has just been served a hot plate of PHP code injection vulnerability. It seems like the tech version of a food critic finding a cockroach in their soup. It's a low blow for ISPConfig, which is supposed to be the 'chef's special' when it comes to web hosting control panels. Apparently, the kitchen had a little issue with the recipe. Egidio Romano, the guy who discovered the bug, must be feeling like he just won a weird sort of lottery. And by weird, I mean the kind where you don't want to win.
